description: Our client based in Wiltshire is one of the fastest growing telecommunications companies in the world.

They seek Unix/C++ Software Engineers. You will join an expanding software team doing C++/UNIX software development work on the UMTS platforms for the next generation mobile systems.

You will need to have 2 years experience of object oriented software analysis and design and related methodologies and implementation in real-time systems

ESSENTIAL SKILLS -

2 years experience with good skills in UNIX and C++.
Experience of OO design using UML/OMT or similar methodology.

DESIRABLE SKILLS (Not essential) -

Implementation experience, developing and de-bugging for real-time systems.
Telecommunications knowledge, preferably mobile e.g. GSM/GPRS/UMTS, ATM, SS7, IP
Experience using software tools e.g. Clearcase/CoolJex
Experience with distributed systems technology such as CORBA
Degree in a related subject e.g. Computer Science, Electronic Engineering
