England win the Ashes
I have to admit that there was not a lot of work done yesterday afternoon as we were all glued to the TV watching England win the Ashes, Well done England.But some work was done and hopefully we will bear the fruit of our labours in the future with some lucky candidates getting a new job.
Technology forms a major part of what we do here and so today we worked on getting our extended wireless network up and running using an additional internet gateway. It seemed so easy but it was a real pain until I realised that we had in effect two DHCP Servers which were both trying to allocate IP addresses and thereby creating IP conflicts. Turning off the DHCP Server on the internet Gateway solved that problem and all seems to be working ok.
Good news on the offer front one offer definitely accepted and another very positive so could be a double celebration this week.
Time to think about going home now to catch the News and see England's Cricket team get the reward it deserves with a parade in Trafalgar Square.
