We
have current requirements for Software Engineers with responsibilities
from Requirements Analysis through to Systems Integration. We are
seeking people with the potential to develop towards software team
leading or to become a senior engineer. The primary role is the design and development of real-time software subsystems that form part of the radar. The software subsystems are often implemented as embedded firmware in a multiprocessor configuration. |

Candidates should be educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related subject (Math's or Electronic Engineering) and have 3 - 5 years hands on, real-time embedded software experience. |

Personal attributes include good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. |

Typical applications include signal processing, plot and track extraction, radar management and control, test harness and engineering HCIs and built in test and control software. |

|
| Experience of ADA or C++ would be preferred, but a candidate with extensive C experience, is acceptable, together with knowledge of Real Time Structure Analysis or Object Oriented Design (RTSAOOD) using UML and use of tools such as Teamwork or Rational ROSE. |
